Scott Allenby specializes in helping schools understand their internal and external branding by reinforcing value propositions through creative content across mediums in a cohesive communication plan that spans enrollment marketing, internal communications, and advancement communications.
Scott’s entire professional career has been devoted to working at independent schools. He began teaching, coaching, and advising at Proctor Academy in 2006. Currently, Scott teaches an economics course, coaches boys’ basketball, is as an advisor to a half dozen students, and serves as Director of Communications and Marketing. During his tenure as Director of Communications and Marketing, Scott has been the primary content generator for the school and led a complete website redesign in 2014. He has also guided the school’s communication team, development office, and admission office through strategic planning and process overhauls that have directly resulted in increased applications, yield, enrollment, giving, and social media reach.
Scott and his wife, Lindsey (who is the school photographer and makes all of his written work look really good!), and their three small children enjoy all aspects of working and living at an independent school.
